Wiretek first began business in 1987 to fill a small niche in the computer cable market - high quality low cost computer cables. Growing from a small office and garage to our 20,000 square foot facility today, Wiretek has expanded to include many more product lines since that time. At the same time, we have continued to focus on our core strength - high quality products at low cost.

After forming close ties with our suppliers in Taiwan and China, we named the company 'Wiretek Australia' in 1995 to reflect that association, and are the exclusive distributor for Wiretek products in Australia. However, we continue to source from other quality suppliers in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Japan to bring the best quality products to our clients.

Our primary focus in bringing this website to our customers is to provide more immediate access to our core product information. However, upgrades to our Extranet helps us provide better service and selection to all of our customers across Australia, from any browser, at a click of a button!
